How to Apply Beneficial Nematodes

1. Prepare the soil

• Water the area before application so the soil is moist (not dry or waterlogged).
• Nematodes move through moisture, so this step is important.

2. Mix the nematodes

• Empty the pack into a watering can or sprayer.
• Add water and stir well to distribute them evenly.
• Keep the mixture agitated (stir occasionally) so they don’t settle.

3. Apply immediately

• Pour or spray evenly over the soil where pests are present.
• Apply in the evening or on a cloudy day (UV light can kill them).

4. Water them in

• Lightly water the area again after application.
• This helps wash the nematodes into the soil where pests are.

5. Keep soil moist

• For the next 7–10 days, keep the soil damp so they can survive and work.

For best results, apply to moist soil during mild temperatures and water in after application.
